December 2009 - Burwood Village Christmas Festival
9-10 October 2009 – FDC staged our annual production "In Essence", showcasing a mixed bill of 15 original works in a range of dance styles from jazz and lyrical to contemporary and ethnic styles. Proceeds were donated towards Alzheimer's Australia Vic to support the programs and services that they provide to people living with dementia. See our gallery of photos from the production.
March 2009 – Kew Community Festival
February 2009 – Ashburton Festival
3-4 October 2008 – FDC staged three performances of its inaugural full length dance production "Metamorphosis" at the Renaissance Theatre in Kew High School. The production featured 12 dance items choreographed and performed by FDC members and guest performing groups, to styles including jazz, hip hop, contemporary and Latin. The production was attended by approximately 400 members of the public, with proceeds going towards Autism Victoria. See our gallery of photos from the production.
November 2007 – Contemporary dance workshop held by FDC for international students on an Arts Exchange Program from Raffles Girls Secondary Singapore at Dancehouse.
October 2007 – Guest Performers in the production ‘Poise’ by Flare Dance Ensemble, Union House Theatre, University of Melbourne.
September 2007 – Peppercorn Centre, Senior Citizens Concert, Hawthorn Town Hall
August 2007 – ‘With Music In Mind’, art exhibition by Art Nerds at the Town Hall Gallery, Hawthorn.
