Dancers & Choreographers Volunteers & Production Crew Private Giving Partnership Opportunities Dancers & Choreographers FDC welcomes adult non-professional dancers and choreographers to join us. Participation in FDC activities (e.g., workshops, social events) is open to all members. Casting for production items is based on merit/dance ability and active participation. Dancers are selected in consultation with the Artistic Director and Choreographer. To join FDC, download a membership form and return the completed form, with payment, to the Secretary of Flare Dance Company Inc. during one of our practices. Membership Fee: New members $15 per annum / Renewal $10 per annum Membership Benefits: •    Participate in FDC dance workshops and rehearsals •    Perform in staged productions with an established dance company •    Create and stage your own choreographic work in a supportive environment •    Participate in FDC social events •    Be involved in valuable community service Membership Fees support the ongoing running costs of FDC, such as: •    Public liability insurance •    Incorporation and ongoing registration fees of Flare Dance Company Inc •    Venue hire for rehearsals, workshops and performances •    Marketing and promotion of Flare Dance Company Inc and our performances •    Hire or purchase of equipment as required for stage productions •    Administrative costs Volunteers & Production Crew Being a volunteer is a rewarding experience as you get the opportunity to make a valued contribution to the community, make new friends, learn new skills and share your ideas. FDC provides you the chance to interact with like-minded people and make a real difference to our cause. If you are interested in volunteering in a non-dancing role, in particular technical aspects, our stage production will provide you with the chance to gain practical experience and hone your skills. Being involved will help realize the visions of our artistic director and choreographers within constraints of technical possibility. FDC seeks volunteers for the following roles: •    Technical Expertise (lighting, sound, videography) •    Marketing and Promotion (graphics design, photography) •    Front of House / Ushers •    Costume Design and Production •    Musicians / Composers If you would like to volunteer for FDC or would like to find out more information before committing yourself, please contact us.
